Numerical experiments of Darcy law, pore pressure, drag and lift forces acting on concrete blocks, and visualization experiments of seepage flow were used to verify and validate the simultaneous analysis model of river flow and seepage flow around river structures. Although the numerical calculations were found to produce results in agreement with the experiments, the actual conditions in the field may not match and may produce different results.
