In Japan, a disaster-prone country, it is very important to stock food at home. The "rolling stock method" presented as a cycle of food stockpiling has a difference in the current people's perception of food stockpiling in the event of a disaster. In this study, it was clarified that the diet prepared for disasters should be an extension of "daily meal, and the problem of the rolling stock method was shown. In the future, it will be necessary to consider the issues of the current rolling stock method in service design for promoting household food stockpiling.
