[3C-01] Dis-Communication Design : Learning from "Dame design" to Design for Empathy

Designers have continued to solve problems through design technology. Nevertheless, why are there so many "Dame (=Bad) Design" in the world? This study presents the learning process and results of a case study of "Dame Design" in an art college class. The lecture went from a familiar question to an essential issue. The method of reverse thinking triggered students' awareness of the parties involved, leading to lively discussion and comprehensive consideration of the issue. After discussion, they will be empathetic about the value of the design.
