The authors have always used the city of Sapporo in a tourist way and thought they knew the city well. However, we had not been able to develop a design practice that considered the real relationships among people and things in the city. Therefore, they tried to recapture the city of Sapporo as it is by moving around aimlessly on a streetcar. Afterwards, he shared his re-captured world around the streetcar with others on three occasions. This paper outlines what happened during this series of activities and considers the changes in the way the authors shared what they saw with others, as well as the effects of these changes.
