[4C-03] Supporter Training Activities of Public Elementary School in Hachioji City and Educational Picture Books on Dementia

This paper investigated the current state of activities at Hachioji Municipal Elementary School and educational picture books on dementia published in Japan as a prelude to proposing support tools for young people's supporter training activities on dementia. According to the activity records on the homepages of all 70 schools, dementia education with specialists as instructors has been confirmed in 11 schools in recent years. In a survey of educational picture books based on Google's keyword search, we confirmed 30 actual items published after 1995 and summarized them in a table by items such as content, character, viewpoint, and media format.
