[6A-02] Research on the development of an attractiveness index of shopping street focusing on the landscape

The objective of this research is to derive the characteristic landscape components contained in a shopping street that are likely to be perceived as attractive landscapes. As a research method, 3-step experiments in which a 3D model of a shopping district was created for eight patterns of different combinations of components, which were viewed and evaluated on a VR system were conducted. As a result of the analysis of variance, "signboard color", "plantings", "height of plantings", and "width of street" were identified as factors with significant differences.
