Based on the tasks from the preliminary experiment, we created a device that reproduces the walking motion of a guide dog. Using this device, an experiment was conducted to evaluate the comprehensibility of the standard type, twisted type, and “y” sharped type handles while go straight, walking to avoid obstacles, and climb stairs based on the analytic hierarchy process. As a result of the evaluation experiment, it was found that the comprehensibility of each steering wheel may have characteristics for each walking scene. In addition, From the results of interviews with guide dog users, it was found that the movement of the produced device could reproduce the shaking of the guide dog during walking.
