[6C-04] Various Visitors Levels of Satisfaction of Accessibility and Animal Exhibition Experience in Ueno Zoological Gardens

This paper examines the standards of pedestrian and exhibition areas in Ueno Zoological Gardens from various perspectives focusing on spatial characteristics and the satisfaction of people with physical difficulties. This paper provides mainly two investigations. Results indicate that four significant elements of design standards of zoological gardens: 1. Smooth flow, 2. Exhibition area with clear visibility and well-maintained animal environments, 3. Sufficient information for each animal, 4. An immersive experience.
