[7B-03] Sign design and its information - environment relationships

An analysis of 115 signs in Japan

This study aims to examine the information-environment relationships of sign designs by analyzing 115 signs in Japan. The analysis focused on three aspects: 1) contents of signs, 2) materials of signs, 3) where and how signs are located. Based on the analysis, the information-environment relationships of sign designs were examined.
