In Japanese school education, educational activities that take advantage of regional characteristics are being promoted. There is also an urgent need to develop human resources who will lead the fourth industrial revolution. Under these circumstances, the introduction of STEAM education that crosses the fields of science, mathematics, and the arts has become an issue. The purpose of this study is to develop STEAM educational content for elementary school students that enables them to learn about traditional crafts and digital fabrication in an integrated manner. In this report, we provide an overview of the workshop conducted for elementary school students and its results.
