[2P06] Roughness of a vicinal surface with faceted macrosteps
The surface width of the vicinal surface with faceted macrosteps is calculated using the Monte Carlo method. Though the surface is smooth at equilibrium, we found that the surface is rough at a non-equilibrium steady-state; besides, the surface width has the maximum at the macrostep assembling/disassembling point which is a characteristic driving force for crystal growth.
