[2P14S] Relationship of substrate surface roughness to photocatalytic effect of titanium dioxide thin film

In recent years, there has been a lot of research related to artificial photosynthesis, and titanium dioxide is one of the most frequently reported materials. In our previous study, TiO2/Cu2O multilayer thin films were fabricated on glass substrates to expand the light-absorbing area and confirmed the improvement of photocatalytic effect. In this study, the polished glass substrate was compared with that of the untreated substrate about photocatalytic effect and the highly photocatalytic effect of the surface with the textured structure was confirmed.
