[2P20] Electronic states of thin films of π-conjugated molecule DBP oriented on Ag(110) substrate
In organic devices, the charge injection mechanism from the metal electrode to the molecules has a great influence on the charge transport and conversion efficiency of the device. However, the effects of the interfacial structure between the metal electrodes and the molecular film on the electronic states remain largely unexplored. In this study, we investigated the electronic state of the metal/molecule interface using a DBP (tetraphenyldibenzoperiflanthene) molecule with a characteristic shape.
