[1Ba09] Structural analysis of clean Cu(001) using low-energy positron diffraction (LEPD) in the newly upgraded experimental station at SPF, IMSS, KEK
In this report we discussed the latest upgradation of the low-energy positron diffraction (LEPD) experimental station at the slow positron facility (SPF), KEK. This facilitated us to conduct the quantitative LEPD I-V analysis of clean Cu(001) and Pb adsorbed Cu(001)-c(2x2) surface for precise surface structure determination. In addition, we have carried out the first trial of LEPD-ARPES multiprobe research where the clean Cu(001) surface that was measured at LEPD station has been transported by UHV transfer vessel to photon factor (PF) for the measurement of electronic band structure using ARPES.
