[1Ea05] Infrared laser deposition toward exploration of thin films and new materials
There has been a growing attention to the potential usefulness of “infrared (IR) laser deposition”, a vacuum deposition process that has been newly developed in our research group, and is now commercially available from Pascal Co. Ltd., a Japanese company dealing with vacuum products. This deposition method is purposefully designed for deposition of soft-materials. In the presentation, we will demonstrate how the IR laser deposition system can be used for deposition of soft-materials such as low molecular weight organic semiconductor and EL compounds, inorganic-organic hybrid perovskites, metal borohydrides, and ionic liquids, as well as ionic solids such as alkali-halides and halide perovskites.
