[2Hp04] Investigation on the Catalytic Performance of Hydrogen Boride for Formic Acid

Hydrogen boride (HB) sheets play a role as a solid acid catalyst and the sheets are chemically stable against water. Therefore, HB is expected to have a catalytic effect on the dehydration reaction of formic acid. In our study, we found that HB can catalyze the conversion of formic acid at lower temperatures, and CO was selectively generated with high conversion within the high-temperature range. Changing the conditions of W/F will not significantly affect the selectivity of the product, but will affect the conversion of formic acid.
