[3Ga04] Effect of lanthanoid shrinkage on surface adsorption of astatine on gold

The presence of lanthanoid shrinkage, due to electrons in the 4f orbital, changes the physical characteristics of astatine adsorption on gold. We compare this with the adsorption of iodine on gold and found differences from the common trend that applies to a larger halogen.
