サーキュラーエコノミー実現のためには，一次資源・二次資源を問わず，廃製品や低品位化・難処理化が進行する鉱石を対象とした，低コストかつ省エネルギーな物理選別技術およびそのプロセスの改善・開発が不可欠である。本報では，粒子表面の疎水性の差を利用する物理選別技術である浮選に着目し，難処理鉱石を対象とした選鉱プロセスの改善事例を紹介するとともに，都市鉱山開発への応用について展望する。
