Open Symposium
An open symposium, "Moonshot for Insect Utilization and Pest Control in 2050," will be held on the 1st day of the Congress from 13:30 to 16:30. For details, please click here.
 

Banquet
No banquet will be held in this conference to prevent the spread of infection.
 

Oral Presentations
All presentations must be given on-site. Remote presentations are not allowed. For details, please refer to here.
 
Oral presentations in English
Oral presentations will be given on the third day of the conference (March 15) at the same session and venue. PhD. degree (including students) or within 5 years of obtaining a doctoral degree (excluding childcare/nursing care leave) at the time of registration. Excellent presenters will receive a certificate of merit in the name of the president of the society after the conference.
 
General Lectures (Poster Presentations)
As a trial, we have set two core times for poster presentations per presenter. One is from 9:00 to 10:00 and the other is from 13:15 to 14:15 on the same day. Please pay special attention to these times, as they are very different from previous years. Detailed information about the time for putting up and taking down posters will be announced on the conference website.
 
Core Time
Presenters will be divided into two groups (Group A or Group B) and each group will have a core time (1 or 2). Presenters are requested to present their papers and answer questions in front of their posters during the allocated core time (see below).

Poster Preparation
Posters should be A0 size (width 841mm, height 1189mm). The size of the poster panel is a little small, so we appreciate your cooperation.
 
Poster Awards: Poster awards will be given to student members.
Poster presentations by student members will be reviewed by the delegates, and the best presentation will receive a poster award. The award will be presented by the President of the Society after the conference.
 
Preparation for Presentation
Details on when posters will be put up and taken down will be posted on the conference website as they become available.
 
Copyright Notice for Presentations
The copyrights of the video contents and posters belong to the presenters, so please be careful not to infringe on the rights and interests of third parties. If any infringement of rights or interests occurs, the presenter will be held responsible for any and all infringements. The following is an example of the guidelines.
Audience members will not record, photograph, make hard copies of the presentation, save to a computer or other storage media, or redistribute the presentation.
No music will be played.
No photographs or videos taken by others will be used.
Do not use photographs of shrines and temples, works of art, portraits of celebrities, scenes from movies, etc., even if they were taken by you. All of these must be licensed.
Clearly distinguish between quoted material and original material. The quoted material should be considered "subordinate" to the original material in terms of both quality and quantity. Indicate the source as is customary (satisfy the "Three Citation Requirements").
Do not use figures or tables from articles or books for which the publisher holds the copyright.
Use covers and pictures of books and other publications only after obtaining permission from the publisher.
Even if the quotation is of a text, if the work to be appreciated is the "main work" as judged by the subject-subject relationship requirement of the quotation, permission should be obtained from the author even if the number of quoted lines is short.
Avoid using Japanese names of insects that include discriminatory terms.
