[S11] Methods of Analysis in Health Science Symposium organized by Division of Pharmaceutical Health Sciences and Environmental Toxicology: Strategies for indoor healthy living in the post-COVID-19 era

Sat. Mar 26, 2022 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM [Room O] Conference Room 234 (Bldg. 2: 3F)

Organizer: Toshiko Tanaka-Kagawa (Yokohama Univ. Pharm.), Yasuyuki Fujiwara (Sch. of Pharm., Tokyo Univ. of Pharm. & Life Sci.)

The "Methods of Analysis in Health Science" edited and published by "Division of Pharmaceutical Health Sciences and Environmental Toxicology, The Pharmaceutical Society of Japan" contains various analysis methods for protecting human health and a healthy environment. Among them, the subjects of the air analysis method range from not only the atmosphere but also indoor environment. With the spread of COVID-19, maintaining and improving health in an indoor environment, where people are spending more time than ever before, is an extremely important theme. In this symposium, as the theme for infection prevention, we will discuss efficient ventilation measures for infectious disease control from the standpoint of architectural environmental studies, and prediction and risk assessment of droplet infection by the supercomputer Fugaku. Furthermore, as a theme for spending a healthy life during COVID-19 pandemic, we will discuss the "heat stroke alert", which began as a new information dissemination for the prevention of heat stroke in April 2021, and health effects, so-called "Corona Locomo" on due to lack of exercise, which is a problem not only for the elderly but also for all generations by refraining from going out. We hope that this symposium will lead not only to prevent infections in the "new lifestyle" but also to foster awareness and promote behavioral changes toward extending healthy life expectancy.
