Welcome to the 10h International Symposium on Applied Engineering and Sciences (SAES2022)

Kyushu Institute of Technology (KYUTECH) and Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) are pleased to announce that 10th International Symposium on Applied Engineering and Sciences (SAES2022) will be held online on 12th–14th December 2022.

This year marks our 10th ANNIVERSARY of the SAES which has been the Flagship International Symposium between KYUTECH and UPM in the areas of Applied Engineering and Sciences. SAES2022 will provide a unique platform for researchers, students, scientists, and engineers to share their expertise and their latest research.

Due to the covid-19 pandemic, we have no choice other than holding the SAES virtually this year as we did for SAES2020 and SAES2021, 3 consecutive years.

Despite of such restrictions because of the pandemic, SAES2020  and SAES2021, those virtual symposium had more than 500 registrations including more than 300 presenters not only from UPM and Kyutech but also other partner institutions from many different countries and regions to share their expertise and knowledge internationally.

It is also the 40th ANNIVERSARY year of MALAYSIA-JAPAN LOOK EAST POLICY (LEP) which has been contributing in development of strong partnership and friendship between 2 countries.

Thus, in this commemorable year for UPM and Kyutech,  and for Malaysia and Japan, I hope we and all participants can make SAES2022 one of the best SAES ever together so that our international partnership and friendship will be advanced furthermore for the next decade.
