[C-9-04] Impact of grain-boundary on thermal conductivity in environmentally friendly thermoelectric sulphide Cu2ZnSnS4

Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) single crystal is a high-performance thermoelectric material while using environmentally friendly materials, and its ZT shows 1.6 at 800K. In this study, we investigated the impact of grain-boundary on thermal conductivity in CZTS by the combination of experimental and theoretical results. It was confirmed that the value of thermal conductivity with 0.1 μm grain was 0.9 at 800 K, which is almost the half value of single crystal.
