[S10-05] 江戸時代・明治初期の歴史地震・歴史噴火によって西日本に到達した遠地津波を記した歴史史料の収集
Historical materials of earthquakes and eruptions and their databases include some records that describe teletsunamis, although the shakings were not felt. In this study, we collect and introduce the records of teletsunamis in western Japan (including Okinawa) during the Edo and early Meiji periods, which are not included in the catalogs and the international databases such as NOAA. In particular, we focus on the records (Table 1) of the 1741 eruption of Oshima (Hagi in Yamaguchi), the 1751 Concepción earthquake (Susaki in Kochi and Tanabe in Wakayama), the 1837 Valdivia earthquake (Nagoya in Aichi and Susaki in Kochi) , and the 1868 Arica earthquake (Naha in Okinawa). We try to go back to the sources as much as possible and introduce the original descriptions.
