[MIS08-P02] Local Geological Resources Revealed by Ancient Documents: Some Examples from the San'in Kaigan Geopark

The speaker shows some examples of finding and enhancing the value as local resources inherent in San’in Kaigan UNESCO Global Geoparks from ancient records. In this presentation, Mr. R. Shibano, who is believed to be the namesake of Genbudo Cave, a document recording the names of rocks from Genbudo Cave, and "Kowameshi-ishi" from Kinosaki Onsen (Toyooka City) will be introduced as examples found in ancient documents from the modern period.
