It is effective to introduce nano-rods into the REBCO superconducting films for their higher in-field performance. BaMO3 (M=Hf,Sn,Zr) nano-rods are self-assembled in the REBCO films in the vapor epitaxy. In this study, we found BaTbO3 as a novel nano-rod material. Superconducting properties and the microstructure in BaTbO3 doped SmBa2Cu3Oy films will be also reported.
