[6C-01] Research to identify issues for the creation of medication support products for the visually impaired

In the previous paper, we investigated the manufacturing and packaging methods of medicines and the approaches to support medication taking for the following five items, which are considered to have high priority among the problems caused by visual impairment: "loss of tablets", "forgetting to take medicines", "difficulty in remembering explanations", "difficulty in understanding the combination of multiple medicines", and "mistaking the type of medicine". This paper describes the results of the survey. In this paper, based on the five problems in taking medication, we made a prototype of the medication support product and conducted a survey using the prototype, in order to extract the problems of the medication support product including the behavior of visually impaired people when they use the product, and to contribute to the creation of the medication support product in the future.
