[6D-02] Characteristics and Transition in Creative Offices (Part 2)

The objective of this study is to clarify the characteristics and transition of spaces that enhance workers' sensibility and creativity, and induce knowledge behavior, by targeting the Nikkei New Office Award-winning works. In order to clarify quantitatively the spatial composition, furniture, and finishes from the photographs in the book, items and categories were set up, and the results were tabulated by age group every five years. From the photos taken, it was found that the number of furniture and finishes using wood has increased over the years, and the number of plantings and finishes has diversified.This study suggests that the use of various atmospheric spaces enhances workers creativity in the office.
