[1D_PL] Action plan for the next decade of material irradiation research

[1D_PL02] Improvement of microstructure observation method of LWR core internal materials

Since 17 years have been passed since the 21st century, we would like to look back on our research results we have done or have not done yet, and we would like to have an opportunity to discuss action plans for material irradiation research in the next 10 years. Prof. Naoki Hashimoto of Hokkaido University will give a talk entitled " Current status and prospects of irradiation study on fusion reactor materials", Dr. Katsuhiko Fujii of INSS will give a talk entitled " Improvement of microstructure observation method of LWR core internal materials", Dr. Akiyoshi Nomoto of CRIEPI will give a talk entitled "Current status and prospects of irradiation effect evaluation of reactor pressure vessel " and discussed the recent findings and future prospects of irradiation damage / irradiation effect research on nuclear materials. We would like to share those information among members of materials science and technology division. We also hope to encourage young researchers and graduate students to attend this workshop as human resource developments.
