Because of the bunch lengthening and degradation of electron beam quality due to the space charge effect, the THz-CUR energy at 0.16 THz generated from the compact linac system in Kyoto University shows a saturation when the bunch charge is higher than 80 pC. GPT simulation has been performed and compared with the experiment.
