Prior to the safety assessment, the recent information of volume of waste forms and inventory of radionuclides in 1F site were gathered. And the leaching rate of GeoMelt® vitrified glass, the specifications of the burial facility (Lateral loading pit type) and engineered barrier system were considered in this study.
