Keywords:Fusion reactor, Transmutaion, Minor actinide

This study performed neutron transport simulations and burn-up calculations to evaluate the effect of a coolant in transmuting minor actinide (MA) in a fusion reactor. Three coolants (water, Flibe and PbBi) were considered. The results of this study implied the effectiveness of using water from the viewpoints of MA reduction and thermal design.
