プルーム軌跡上のオフサイト2方向（1Fから南及び南西側）で採取した樹木及び土壌の放射能分析から樹木の¹³⁷Cs面移行係数を求め、プルーム及び樹種別の汚染状況を評価した。その結果、アカマツには明瞭な差異がないものの、スギはプルームにより面移行係数が大きく変化することが明らかとなった。
