In order to prevent re-criticality of fast reactors in case of CDA, fuel with central axis absorber has been studying. The central absorber is hold in central axis of fuel pellet during normal operation of fast reactor, but the abserber will be dispersed into molten fuel in case of CDA.
Several physical properties of neutron absorber materials were investigated by literature, database and some experiments. Based on these investigation results, installation methods of B, Gd, Eu and Dy were studied.
