A various cables used in nuclear power plants are treated as wastes in decommissioning. If a part of them is treated as a non-radioactive waste, the amount of radioactive waste can be reduced. Valuable resources such as copper can be recycled, and that contributes to the efficient use of resources. In this presentation, the results on the component analysis of representative PWR cables will be reported.
