This paper describes the result of an experiment in which ion exchange resin was fed into the crucible of an operating experimental plasma furnace. It is necessary to make the ion exchange resin inorganic for the proper vitrification, and the increase of oxygen injection into the furnace increased the processing speed of the resin.
