Understanding of dissolution reactions between high-level radioactive nuclear waste (HLW) and glasses are indispensable for the improvement of the loading capacity of HLW into glass.
In this study, simulated cold cap was formed, and the vitrification behavior between pseudo-HLW and various borosilicate glasses was observed by high-temperature X-ray CT.
