高温の溶融塩中に浸漬させた模擬ガラス固化体を、還元剤を用いて還元することで、ガラス網目構造を破壊しLLFPを分離回収する方法を検討した。
ガラス主成分のSiO2還元率98%以上で網目構造の分解に成功、溶融塩中に溶解した元素および還元生成物の分離回収プロセスを構築し、LLFP分離回収の見通しを得た。
