TRU金属燃料高速炉で用いるZr高含有燃料(TRU-40wt%Zr)の電解挙動を、TRU模擬物質としてUを用いて試験・検討している。電解槽のCd相中にU,Zrを溶解し、このCdを陽極とした電解精製試験を行った結果、塩中へのZr溶解を抑制しつつ、Zr高含有金属燃料が電解できる見通しを得た。
