[3N10] Development of high performance clarification system for reprocessing

System concept and fundamental study of filter performance

Clarification performance should be improved in next generation MOX reprocessing plant because amount of insoluble sludge is more than that of spent UO2 fuel. In this study, a high performance clarification system based on hybrid of centrifuge and filtration was proposed and the filtration performance was fundamentally evaluated . As results, we discuss that the new clarification system has a potential performance for the practical use.
