KURAMA-II has been widely used for the monitoring activities on the air dose rate and the distribution of radioactive contamination. The recent status and prospects of developments of KURAMA-II will be introduced, including a project for the recovery of soil in farmlands based on KURAMA-II and deployments of KURAMA-II as a tool for the preparation of future nuclear incidents.
