In consideration of the realization of a decarbonized society, and the applicability to distributed power supply systems, small modular LWR (SMLWR) is been developing. The SMLWR will not only supply electric power to small-scale grids, but also but also be utilized for various purposes such as the electric power supply to the affected areas and remote islands, and as nuclear propulsion ship by the installation of nuclear power plant (NPP) on a ship. Small Modular Reactors are expected to enhance the safety and robustness and to improve the affordability of NPP. It is desirable to enhance serviceability in the isolated area. In this research, the plant concepts of the SMLWR were developed and its feasibility was examined.
