Dynamic PRA tightly couples mechanistic simulation and conventional PRA models to provide highly reliable risk information, and it is expected that the methodology can be used to mitigate uncertainties of PRA results. JAEA is developing a platform, RAPID, to implement complex computations of dynamic PRA. This abstract introduces the simulation-based dynamic PRA methodology using severe accident code THALES2 and RAPID.
