This is the second presentation in the series, and it reports the practical training on atom probe (APT). The practical training was carried out on sample preparation, measurement and data analysis, and was carried out at 2 locations, JAEA Fugen and CRIEPI Yokosuka. Real surveillance specimens were used in both locations, and samples were prepared by electropolishing and focused ion beam (FIB) methods, respectively. The participants also learned how to extract and evaluate solute atom clusters formed by irradiation from the measured data.
