[2N13] Study on T-production Li rod for high temperature gas cooled reactor
Temperature dependence of the hydrogen absorption speed in Zr
Keywords:high temperature gas cooled reactor, T-production, Li rod, Zirconium, hydrogen absorption
Using Zr as Tritium(T) absorber to reduce T leakages from Li rod under high temperature conditions is studied in T-production for high temperature gas cooled reactor. In the reactor (Li loading area), the temperature distribution exists. In order to evaluate the T leakage more accurately, it is necessary to obtain the temperature dependence of the hydrogen absorption speed in Zr. In this study, in addition to the conventional measurement experiment (850 and 900 ℃), the hydrogen absorption speed in Zr was additionally measured in the low temperature area. This study reports the temperature dependence of the hydrogen absorption speed in the temperature range of 500-900 ℃ and influence of the temperature distribution in the reactor on the T leakage from Li rod.
