The chemical compatibility of structural materials with liquid metal tin (Sn) is one of the important issues for the development of liquid Sn diverter concept of fusion reactors. The purpose of this study is to clarify the chemical compatibility of ODS FeCrAl alloys in liquid Sn under mixing flow condition. The rectangular specimens of NF12(Fe-12Cr-6Al), SP10(Fe-15Cr-6Al), SOC6(Fe-16Cr-4Al), SOC4(Fe-16Cr-2Al), RAA-7(Fe-22Mn-7Al), and RAA-5(Fe-22Mn-5Al) were immersed in liquid Sn mixing flow at 773K for 1000 hours. They were preoxidized in air at 1273K for 10 hours prior to the corrosion test in liquid Sn. The weight losses of the specimens tested in liquid Sn were negligibly small. They revealed corrosion resistance due to the protectiveness of Al rich oxide layer formed on their surface.
