(2)Development of measurement techniques on radiation distribution based on KURAMA-II

Recent progress on the monitoring techniques based on KURAMA-II, which has been widely used for the surveys of air dose rate and contamination in eastern Japan, are introduced. Especially in this presentation, the developments and applications of a robot for the visualization of soil contamination based on KURAMA-II, the application of an MPPC-based scintillation detector for environmental radiation monitoring, and the progress in the development of an extremely small KURAMA-II equipped with an LPWA radio unit are introduced.
