With regard to the decommissioning work at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, fuel debris will be removed from the PCV and stored in an on-site temporary storage facility. Wet fuel debris are assumed to generate hydrogen due to radiolysis of water. Thus, it is mandatory to prevent hydrogen explosion during transport. We present results of an element test for hydrogen treatment system, into which dilution gas is injected.
