An examination of exhaust route is one of the action plans of DEMO reactor, where the flow is considered to be intermediate flow due to relatively high pressure. Intermediate flow, which is flow regime between molecular and viscous flows, has conductance with non-linear pressure dependency which prevents us from applying linear solvers to the calculation of pressure distribution. In divertor-simulating experiment on linear plasma device NUMBER, it is also necessary to control neutral pressure in the intermediate flow to form detached plasma. We developed a new method of calculation and successfully calculated pressure distribution in NUMBER. In this presentation, we will explain and verify the method of calculation by comparing with actual measurement data.
