[1B13] Research and development of lead block cutting technique for decommissioning nuclear power plants

In the decommissioning work of the nuclear plant, a large amount of lead plate used as a shielding material for radiation is generated as waste. The work of disposing of the lead plate is very difficult because it is difficult to cut using a general tool. In this research, we devised a new technique that combines a mechanical cutting technique and a low melting point alloy, and attempted to research and develop a technique for easily cutting a lead plate.
