[2E13] Quantification of local plastic strain by EBSD

(Part I: Influence of measurement accuracy on strain estimation)

EBSD technique has been applied to predict plastic strain induced in material. Accuracy of measured crystal orientations depend on machine and conditions applied for the measurement. In this study, the accuracy of misorientation identification was quantified and the accuracy was improved to compare the results obtained by different measurements.
